Geographically Kheda district is located between 22.30⁰ to 23.10⁰north latitude and 72.30⁰ to 73.34⁰ east longitude.
The average rainfall of district is 670 mm.
The total area of the district is 3, 94,388 ha. Out of that 3,04,669 ha are cultivable. The forest is spread over 9807 ha.
Canal irrigation facilities available in 68,773 ha, whereas 4214 and 62,855 ha area are covered by tank and well irrigation facility, respectively.
The average maximum and minimum temperatures of the district are ranges from 35⁰ – 43.2⁰C, and 10 - 14⁰C, respectively.
The soil is clay loam to sandy loam type.
